How to catch big freshwater bass

Throughout the waters located in Florida, anglers join to participate in sport fishing, trophy catch, game fishing, fly-fishing, and more. Florida alone has up to 30 kinds of species. Florida fish are often caught in Florida's ponds, rivers, lakes, channels, canals, rivers, etc. The popular fishing areas are around Northern regions, Central, and throughout Southwestern Florida. The largemouth is one of the largest hunted species, since its resistance to hook line, and the fish can grow up to 38-inches. The World Record large is the 22-pounder. Florida largemouth often weighs anywhere from 10-pounds and up to 12-pounds; yet do not be surprised if you find larger fish.

Bass species include black crappie, Oswego bass, shellcracker, specks, bluegill, etc, yet the real bass are the largemouth, smallmouth, white bass, striped bass, and the spotted bass. Largemouth bass is a great sporting, trophy, game fish, fly-fish adventure. The smallmouth however also attracts anglers, since this fish will also put up a good fight when hooked. TIP: Bass enjoy crayfish.

Bass fishing takes place all around the world. Most anglers enjoy fishing, yet stipulations are placed on anglers. If you are fishing to serve a meal, keep the fish, however if you want something to brag about, snap a shot, and release the fish.

Go fishing and you will find the hot spots, especially around Telfair County located in Georgia.
